Your teeth and gums are examined, and X-rays are taken when an area needs a closer look.

Your dentist explains the options for your case and the fee, and you decide what to do and when.
If radiation worries you: at our clinic, X-rays inside the mouth are digital, taken with phosphor plates and sensors that help lower the dose compared with film. Our Planmeca ProMax CBCT has an Ultra Low Dose mode, your dentist chooses the mode that suits each case, and X-rays are taken only when they are needed.
How we work
Each part of your care is seen by, or referred to, a dentist trained in that area, and complex cases are reviewed with the relevant dentist before the plan is confirmed. You may therefore see different dentists for different parts of your treatment. The clinic holds TDCA 2403 Level 3 accreditation.
Cost of a check-up and cleaning
The check-up fee and the cleaning fee are listed on our prices page. The cleaning fee depends on the amount of tartar and the method used. X-rays are charged separately, only if you need them.
Prices on our prices page are shown as ranges. Your final fee depends on what the examination finds, and may include additional items — such as a rubber dam or special materials — when your treatment needs them. Your dentist explains these before treatment.

How often should I have my teeth cleaned?
Most people have a check-up and cleaning about every six months. If you have gum disease or build up tartar quickly, your dentist may suggest more frequent visits.
Is there a fee for the check-up?
There is a check-up fee, which is listed on our prices page. X-rays are charged separately, only if you need them.
Will I see the same dentist every time?
You can ask for a particular dentist, and our coordinators arrange it whenever possible. Each part of your treatment is looked after by a dentist trained in that area, so you may also meet other dentists in the team.
Do you treat children?
Yes. Our dentists see children for check-ups, cleaning, fluoride, sealants and fillings, and explain each step to the child and parent.

Do you accept dental insurance?
Direct billing is available for eligible Cigna, Allianz, International SOS and April patients, after benefit verification and pre-authorization. For other insurers, you pay at the clinic and we provide itemized receipts and medical certificates in English so you can claim.
