After having veneers, it is important to take a good care of veneers so they can last as long as possible.
- Brush your teeth correctly at least 2 times a day
– If not, there might be periodontal or gum disease which can cause gingival recession and then unwantedly results in revealing the joint between veneers and teeth
- Use dental floss at least 2 times a day
- See the dentist every 6 months
- Remind that even there are no decayed veneers, the teeth under the veneers can be decayed and unfortunately the patients cannot see them
Many people might question about the strength and the durability of porcelain veneers if they drink red wine or coffee every day. In fact, none of the stain from food and drink can stick on porcelain veneers.
